Daenerys Targaryen in the Art Style of Randolph Caldecott
Daenerys Targaryen is a fictional character in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series by George R.R. Martin, as well as in the television adaptation "Game of Thrones." She is a member of the Targaryen family, which once ruled the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros before being overthrown in a rebellion. Daenerys is the daughter of King Aerys II Targaryen, also known as the Mad King, and was forced to flee to the eastern continent of Essos with her brother Viserys after her family's downfall.
Over the course of the series, Daenerys grows from a timid and abused young woman into a powerful and confident leader. She is known for her platinum blonde hair and is often referred to as "the Mother of Dragons" due to her possession of three fire-breathing dragons. Daenerys is determined to reclaim the Iron Throne of Westeros for her family and becomes a major player in the game of thrones, gaining the support of armies and followers along the way.
